We start early on purpose. The first two hours are the coolest of the day and the only window when the forest is properly active.

Good to know
Booking runs on WhatsApp. You get the full inclusions list in writing before you pay anything.
Weather. Boats do not sail in unsafe conditions, and that call belongs to the captain rather than to a booking screen. Typhoon risk on this coast peaks in July and August, and August alone averages around 280 mm of rain across 17 wet days. If a trip cannot run we contact you the evening before or first thing that morning and set out the options available that day: move to another date, switch to a land based alternative, or cancel. The exact terms for your booking are confirmed in writing before you pay.
Changing or cancelling. Message us as early as you can. The earlier we know, the more we can do, and in most cases moving your date is simpler than cancelling outright.
Footwear. This is the one trip where your shoes decide how the morning goes. Wet limestone is genuinely slippery and it is the most common cause of injury in the park. Trainers with real grip are fine, flip flops are not, and we will say so at pickup.
Common questions
Almost certainly not, and we will not pretend otherwise. Fewer than 70 survive and they live on coastal cliffs inside closed protection zones, not in the walkable interior. You will see birds, butterflies, geckos and probably macaques. Any operator guaranteeing a langur is selling you something.
Reasonably. It is 3.6 km return with a real climb and a short scramble over exposed rock near the top. If you walk regularly you will be fine. If you have knee trouble, tell us and we will suggest the cave and botanical garden version instead.
Confident walkers from around eight upwards manage it, with one adult per child on the final scramble. Younger children are better suited to Trung Trang Cave and the garden loop, which we can arrange instead.
Light rain we still go, the forest canopy takes most of it. Heavy rain makes the limestone dangerous and we will move you to another morning rather than risk it.
